Question

So I was thinking, Catholics believe in heaven, but they don't believe in past lives. So if when you die and go to heaven, do they consider this life a past life? If so, does that mean that this life doesn't exist?

I'm willing to listen to points of view.

ok so here is what I have come up with so far. Do they consider their presence in heaven a life? Or is this on earth the only life they will ever get to have, and going to heaven is "just" an existance of some sort?
my brain is tired.

That's what I'm wondering too. Is it at death that we're reborn or do we just ascend to heaven as an energy form or as soul?
